I have been practicing my craft in the professional beauty industry for over 27 years and learned from one of the very best, Vidal Sassoon. My training in Munich, Germany has provided me with the artistic foundation to work in the Film and Photo industry and to take my skills internationally. Upon leaving Europe, I landed in New York City, where I proceeded to build a celebrity clientele (Kira Sedwig, Kevin Beakon, Natasha Richardson and Kahleen Turner among others) in the posh salons of Madison Avenue, Bumble and Bumble, and Paul Labreque Salon and Spa, culminating with the position of artistic director. I specialize in precision haircutting, coloring and highlighting techniques.
BETTY
I began at RIK RAK Salon over 14 years ago. It was here that I discovered my passion for hair. I began my training 7 years ago under the very best, Ric (RIK RAK owner) and I am now a hair dresser (specializing in color), make up artist and general manager of RIK RAK Salon. My commitment to making people look beautiful is what allows me to maintain the fabulous clientele I have, which includes celebrities such as Britney Spears, Shannon Elizabeth, Laura Pausini and Angelica Vale. I have also styled for many fashion shows like Roberto Cavalli, photo shoots for Maxim, and hosts of TV shows such as Ana Remos ("El Circulo") and Alejandra Molina (news anchor) among others.
CARLOS
Rodeo Dr., Beverly Hills, California; San Jose, Costa Rica; Palm Beach, Florida; and Brickell Ave. in Miami, Florida has been the general route of Carlos E. Pena Maduro. I have been doing hair for over 32 years since I was trained at Vidal Sassoon. In 1998, I became the right wing of Ric Watters at RIK RAK Salon on Brickell Avenue to become a colorist next to the color guru, Ric.

I’m Ellie and I was born and raised in Miami. I received my professional license at the age of 17 and have enjoyed doing hair for over 28 years. I worked in the Grove in the 80s and in South Beach in the 90s. My specialty has always been make overs, corrective color & hair cuts, I also specialize in curly and ethnic hair. I have also focused my training on various methods and techniques of hair extensions such as Great Lengths, Hair Locs and Hot Heads. I have been at RIK RAK Salon for 5 years where I’ve had the great pleasure of building a clientele with my many years of experience & talent. Coming to see me means getting a complete make over.
ETHIAN
Hi! My name is Ethian. I was born in Cuba and grew up in Germany. I studied cosmetology for 3 years in Europe and worked for 8 years in MTV Europe and freelanced before coming to Miami. I currently work for Mega TV, Univision and RIK RAK Salon. My passion is make up and I can transform a simple home image to that of a glamorous red carpet girl. If you want to look like a superstar come to me, I know the right way to achieve that!
GUSTAVO
I was born in Argentina and shaped in some of the most prestigious academies; Wella, L’Oreal, Mulet Maquillador and in the Instituto de Artes del Teatro Colon. I’m an expert in make-up and hair extensions. I have worked in cinema, theater, and the opera. I am definitely someone who is very qualified to provide the most exquisite service.
JOSEPH
My name is Joseph and was born in Cuba. I started my hairdresser career in 1966 at the Wilfred Academy in New York. I have worked in New York, Miami Beach (at Lily Dache, Nyman Marcus, De Franco Mister Bernard) and for the past 14 years I have been happily working at RIK RAK Salon in Miami. I have traveled to many countries including Paris, Italy, Spain, Germany & Greece. Through my travels, I have learned many styling techniques and have added them to my own. I specialize in up dos, color, permanent wave and relaxers.
LADY
After I graduated from LaBelle Academy, I was trained at RIK RAK, the most chic salon in Miami, with one of best and most professional hair stylist (Lily). I specialize in various color techniques and enjoy the challenges of styling curly, frizzy and long hair. And my other area of expertise is creating curls with the flat iron.
LUIS
I was born in Argentina 36 years ago and began my cosmetology studies at 17 years of age in one of the most distinguished academies for hair care in Argentina, APPAYA. I have also completed various courses in precision hair cutting, color, & highlighting techniques from Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, and Llongeras among others. For over 18 years now and thanks to God, I’ve had the privilege of working in some of the best salons of Buenos Aires, Argentina & later on in South Beach, Aventura, Coral Gables and for over 4 years in Miami, FL in the prestigious RIK RAK Salon located inside the Four Seasons Hotel on Brickell Avenue, the most chic and most happening area in Miami.
MAIRA
I’m Colombian and graduated from beauty school here in Miami. I have over 9 years of experience in the beauty industry. My theory on beauty is to always have in mind the client’s personality and life style. I love playing with color, to transform my clients with hair extensions and to give them a first-rate finish with make up. MASSIMO (MAX)
I was born in Florence, Italy and came to the USA at the age of 16. I began my training at the age of 18 with Jingles in New York and finished it with Bumble and Bumble in Manhattan. Throughout my 15 years of professional experience in the hair industry, I have advanced from creative stylist to artistic stylist. I worked for many years in fashion shows and have styled many artists and bands. I have lived in Miami for over 4 years and I’m currently working at RIK RAK Salon specializing in hair cutting. I see myself not just as a hair stylist but as an artistic stylist. I create classic to contemporary modern looks that are unique to each person’s image.
MICHAEL
I was born in Philadelphia and I have been doing hair for over 28 years. I received my training at Toni & Guy, Vidal Sassoon, L’Oreal, Trevor Sorbie and Sanrizz in London. My expertise is haircuts and color.
MIKAL
My name is Michael and I began my career as a color teacher with L’Oreal Paris and I have been a hairdresser for over 18 years now. I have worked for Jacque De Sangue and Toni and Guy as a consultant responsible for training the finest stylists and color experts. I am also a consultant for some of the best hair salons in New York. I have worked as the Artistic Director of Avanti in New Jersey and at Park Avenue Salon in Monmouth. I am also a former top stylist of Turnberry Salon in Aventura, FL.
NATALIE
My name is Natalie Giallanza and I have been working at RIK RAK for over 3 years. Originally from Tampa, I have been working as a stylist for over 9 years. Proficiency in all areas of hair designing is one of my greatest assets. I do color, haircuts, relaxers, extensions, up dos and blow outs. Communication with the client is the tool I most use to create a look that speaks about them individually as well as being something that is manageable in their everyday lives.
